Kikarica

DJ · Reggaeton · Caparica

Closes the night when the salsa is done · releases her own music

When she plays
Salsa nights end and reggaeton starts. That handover is its own moment: the floor changes shape, couples break apart, and everybody stays.

Dembow
The rhythm under every reggaeton track. One pattern, played since the nineties, and your hips know it before you do.

She makes it too
Not only a selector. Her own tracks are out, and they get played on the same floors she works.

I am from Caparica, and I speak reggaeton. Salsa and reggaeton come from the same islands and the same neighbourhoods. Reggaeton lets you listen to your own rhythm. No partner to keep up with, no count to hold. Just the room, the rhythm, and whatever your body already knew.

Now I put out my own tracks, and hearing a room move to something I made hits differently.

Su musica / what she has put out

Her own tracks

She does not only play other people’s records. Put her on before the night, not just during it.

Gracias / if she made you feel your flame

Buy Kika a cerveja.

Kikarica takes it to the next level. She pours more fuego into the room and carries us back to Latin America, to the true perreo spirit. If you danced until the lights came on, this is where you say so.

Revolut opens, you type the amount there. Goes straight to Kika, Salsa Lisboa takes nothing.

Nobody has left a message for Kika yet. Be the first.
